Here are some resources and sources of inspiration that have been gathered over the years.
In your land communication and animistic endeavours using art, music, documentaries, books, poems etc. to ignite your creative and dreaming state is often overlooked. I have included some that have inspired me over the years in the hope they might do the same for you.
Never underestimate your own creative power. The creative aspect that we all possess connects us to ways of being that we can't fathom at this time. Being creative for the sake of being creative is a way to bypass our hard, squeezed, logical mind. This rigid state prevents magic, miracles, new ways of being, connection and belonging. Creativity opens us up.
Everyone finds creativity in different ways, so don't be shy and just do what calls you. Sometimes my creativity is carving a spoon, sometimes it's writing randomly, sometimes it's singing or dancing or playing the didgeridoo, most of the time I'd be too shy to share it with other humans, but nature always accepts it.
Try doing something creative outside, even in your own chosen space. Perhaps even do it as a means to reflect your relationship with the space, or to connect with it.
Videos
A cute little animation of how farming can and has been done for thousands of years, before the 'green revolution' kicked in.
A 1 hour documentary about Ladakh and the recent change of what is valued and the repercussions. A good case study demonstrating what has happened to our own traditional lands and ways of being as humans.
A little intro or inspiring video for the quantum physic's types.
A short visual exploration of how we effect and are effected by elements. Here we see what happens to water depending on our intentions.

"Caminante, no hay camino"
- Antonio Machado
Caminante, son tus huellas
el camino y nada más;
Caminante, no hay camino,
se hace camino al andar.
Al andar se hace el camino,
y al volver la vista atrás
se ve la senda que nunca
se ha de volver a pisar.
Caminante no hay camino
sino estelas en la mar.
Translation:
Traveler, there is no path
Traveler, your footprints are
the path and nothing more;
Traveler, there is no path,
the path is made by walking.
By walking one makes the path,
and upon looking back
one sees the way that never
will be trod again.
Traveler, there is no path—
only wakes upon the sea.
Books
A beautiful book full of inspiration for those who want to deepen a relationship to land and all it consists of.
This book presents a natural farming philosophy that works with nature and not against it, methods that require less work and more enjoyment!
Where to begin... Just needs to be read really!
A look at where we we took a wrong turn and how to get back to a dignified meaningful way of existing.
A must have for land designers who like to holistically work with the land, listening to its capabilities and stories.
