Integrating Awareness
merging inner & outer landscapes

Integrating Awareness reflects my inner journey of spiritual practise over a lifetime; buddhist, earth based, and other.

I continue to offer my service in the form of a spiritual mentor/spiritual friend.

What is offered:

  • A safe, compassionate supportive space for dealing with life situations (past, present and future)

  • Guidance in useful meditation techniques for clarity, love and compassion

  • Enabling a process of transformation and change

  • Support in the integration of your current spiritual work into daily, family and work life

  • Guiding a process of embodiment and connection to the living earth as a form of healing and reliable support

My lifelong background in spiritual practise has slowly permeated my daily life on subtle and meaningful ways. I have experienced this due to the kindness of my long term spiritual mentors.

I offer my support on your journey, as a spiritual friend, with appreciation for all I have received and what these practises offer the world.

My work is not as a spiritual teacher, but rather a spiritual friend, who can work with you to develop a meaningful and joyful life, offering safe and regular guidance. My service is as an ally and not an authoritarian guide.

I have worked guiding meditation for over a decade, both in large courses in India and Nepal and in a more personal format in Australia and Spain. In this work I have personally worked with hundreds of individuals from varying backgrounds with differing interests. With this experience and my own, I have learnt a lot about what brings dissatisfaction and causes harm. One thing I believe our spiritual practise must provide us, is support for becoming more confident with, and able to access, our own inner wisdom and inner source of joy.

How it works:

Meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
for 60 minute sessions.
These might include:
  • Working with struggles and 'shadows'
  • Identifying strengths and interests
  • Ascertaining goals and motivations
  • Developing a personalised practise
Bringing into life
  • Practising daily in a realistic, non-stressful ways
  • Addressing questions and 'obstacles'
  • 'Feel in' to what works and what doesn't
Integrate over time
  • Allow your practise to permeate your experience and daily life with time
  • See how your practise effects your relationships, your overall wellbeing and your lifes' work
  • Adjust accordingly to needs and cicumstances

The sessions are via zoom and typically last 60 minutes.  The 30 minute free call is to share how the mentoring process usually unfolds.

A commitment to meet regularly, for at least for 3 months is usually required to allow for a deeper process to unfold.

The mentoring is open to all and you do not need to be buddhist.

Peoples needs differ, so please reach out with any questions or doubts.

Opening to a process:

A process of mentoring may provide a space for you to move through some of the processes that have been knocking at your door. These may be processes that have been a little sticky and scary in the past, but keep coming back to the forefront. They may be processes waiting to receive your attention in order to provide transformation, integration, growth and healing.

Above all they are your life processes and this mentoring can be your way of committing to them, in order for you to transform and integrate the gifts they are here to bring.

Once upon a time, we found many ways to work through our life  processes, with sufficient support arriving organically. Nowadays it's often the case we need to seek out support consciously and unashamedly, if we do, and we continue to work through our inevitable life processes, surely we'll be able to give back to those around us who will also need support in the future.

My background

I was introduced to spirituality early on, growing up in a large Buddhist community. I have mainly aligned with the Mahayana Buddhist tradition, and over the last 10 years I have taught meditation in Australia, Spain, India and Nepal at various Buddhist centers. I have worked in various management roles in Buddhist Centers including Spiritual Program Coordinator at a large Buddhist center in Australia.

Over these years I have worked with well known Buddhist teachers and supported their retreats by offering complimentary meditations to attendees.

I have been fortunate to study under many esteemed Buddhist teachers and Lamas. My main teachers include Lama Zopa Rinpoche and Rob Preece, from which I have received much personal guidance from over the years.

I have completed various longer meditation retreats, suggested by my teachers, some of up to 3 months in isolation.

I wholeheartedly appreciate all of what these experiences have provided me, however my interests and inclinations also led me to the world of permaculture, animism, dowsing and land communication. These practices have grounded my spirituality and allowed me to extend my spirituality into my professional landscaping work and out into the world.

I'm also engaged in formal studies in counselling to continue to enhance my skills in mentoring as a counsellor.

I do my best to share from experience and not just a learnt knowledge. My journey and experience continues to grow as I move through my life and I would be honoured to be of service for your journey.
